Experiences and tours in Chiang Mai
Come join us for a day that promises to elevate you to the pinnacle of Thailand.
Doi Inthanon stands as the highest mountain in the country, nestled within the Himalayan range, boasting lush vegetation that has established it as one of the most sought-after national parks in the region.
Amidst various points of interest, immerse yourself in the charm of the magnificent King and Queen's Pagoda surrounded by their lush garden and explore the expansive Royal Project. This project showcases a diverse array of vegetables, plants, and fruits cultivated with utmost care, free from any chemical products and in complete harmony with nature. Doi Inthanon is not just a national park; it's a captivating natural haven.
Our program offers a 2-hour trek along one of the most renowned trails in the Park, the Kew Mae Pan trail. This trail leads you to the highest point in Thailand, treating you to an absolutely extraordinary viewpoint above the clouds during the early morning. The remainder of the day is dedicated to exploring the park.
(Note: During the rainy season, the Kew Mae Pan trail is closed and replaced by the Pha Dok Siew rice paddy fields)
Reviews
The national park is more than an hour from the city, but the trip is by minivan, so it remains comfortable. The Kew Mae Pan hike is really nice—not particularly difficult, but very enjoyable, along the mountainside with beautiful views. The waterfalls are truly impressive, as are the two Royal Pagodas. A great day. The meal, however, was fairly standard.
We took the excursion in December and were able to enjoy a sea of clouds beneath our feet as we climbed all the way to the summit. It was magnificent!
We stayed with the group all day, but there were only 12 people, so it was fine.
Our guide Nook was very attentive.
The pagodas and their gardens were definitely worth the visit!
