What makes the Similan Islands special?
The Similan Islands are a group of 11 islands, each with their own character. You’ll visit some of the most beautiful and accessible ones:
Island No. 8 (Ko Similan): Home to the famous “Sail Rock” viewpoint, where you can climb for a panoramic view over the turquoise waters and boulder-strewn coast.
Island No. 9 (Ko Ba Ngu): Known for its vibrant underwater life and colorful corals – perfect for snorkeling!
Island No. 7 (Ko Payu): Another top snorkeling site with excellent visibility and a chance to see clownfish, parrotfish, and more.
Island No. 4 (Ko Miang): Features two stunning beaches separated by a forest trail. A great spot for lunch, relaxation, or a quick swim.
Program:
Pick-up early in the morning from your hotel in Khao Lak
Transfer to Thap Lamu Pier – enjoy a light breakfast and safety briefing
Depart by speedboat to the Similan Islands (approx. 1h15 journey)
Arrival at Island No. 8 (Ko Similan) – free time on the beach and optional climb to Sail Rock viewpoint
Continue to Island No. 9 (Ko Ba Ngu) – enjoy snorkeling in crystal-clear waters
Stop at Island No. 7 (Ko Payu) – second snorkeling session among coral reefs and colorful fish
Head to Island No. 4 (Ko Miang) – lunch on the island and relaxation on the beach
Leisure time to swim, sunbathe, or walk through the forest trail
Depart the islands by speedboat
